![]() ![]() Brown may slice into his potential output. With a matchup against New England upcoming, Reynolds is in line for another solid fantasy week, though the return of St. He hauled in seven passes for 81 yards and a score against Seattle, this coming on the heels of a six-catch, 96-yard effort the previous week in Minnesota. Brown out of the lineup, it was Josh Reynolds who stepped in and performed very well. The Detroit passing game was hitting on all cylinders this past week, and with this year’s fantasy darling Amon-Ra St. We are hopeful that he can put up at least half those numbers on a weekly basis. ![]() These numbers make him an obvious selection off waivers this week for those in need at tight end. Two of those went for touchdowns in what was a huge week for the Indianapolis tight end. Against Tennessee he was a titan, hauling in six passes for 85 yards. Up to this point in the season, Alie-Cox has been invisible, catching a total of four passes in the first three games. On the Radar TE Mo Alie-Cox, Indianapolis Denver will probably scan the real life waiver wire to look for more help at the position (it did, signing Latavius Murray off of New Orleans’ practice squad), so Boone will have to act quickly to put a hold onto the top role. We are hesitant to put him into our highest category, but he is certainly a solid pickup this week. Melvin Gordon will be in the mix, but he has had some issues holding onto the ball so we are seeing Mike Boone as the best back in the Denver stable. Reports are that Javonte Williams is gone for the season, leaving the Denver starting running back position open for the taking. More importantly, we really like the potential here for these numbers and possibly even more going forward on a weekly basis. Pickens ended the day with six catches for 102 yards, which is more than enough to get a mention in this week’s story, and in fact gets him top billing in this week’s column. That is significant for Pickens, because as soon as Pickett took over, he looked for Pickens early and often. Pittsburgh is making a move at quarterback, handing things over to the rookie Kenny Pickett. Solid Pickups WR George Pickens, Pittsburgh Good times for all as fantasy owners get to keep tabs on four teams in the week’s finales. ![]() How about instead of the Thursday game the NFL makes the dual Monday gig a regular thing? Offset the start times by an hour to an hour and a half. Several weeks back there were two Monday night games. Is anyone else out there tired of the Thursday night game? A game that really puts a crimp into the waiver process, getting starting lineups entered, weekly pick ‘em contests, and the list goes on. Javonte Williams suffered a torn ACL on Sunday and while it’s extremely sad news for the young star, it also creates quite a conundrum for the Week 5 waiver wire. Injuries at the running back position have sent a couple of NFL teams scrambling to the real life waiver wires, with one team dipping into the practice squad of another team (good thing fantasy is not like that, ha!). We set aside our highest and lowest categories this week, sticking to a middling but good group of players worth considering for pickup.
